White Christmas - Prologue
MLOC presents a stage adaptation in November/December of the 1954 film White Christmas, rewritten in 2004,
with seven additional songs not found in the movie and written by the composer/lyricist Irving Berlin.
The show will be presented at the Phoenix Theatre, 101 Glenhuntly Rd., Elwood
with the same cast in two distinct seasons,
both suitable for the Christmas period
celebrations and work functions. Book your

The story tells of four friends (played by Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera Allen in the film)
who, as entertainers, rescue a retired Army General's post WWII holiday venture, the Columbia Inn in Pinetree,
Vermont, from financial ruin because of the lack of snow.

MLOC is the first company (professional or non-professional to stage White Christmas in Victoria and is most excited
with the challenge of capturing the feeling of a northern hemisphere Christmas while preparing for our usual Australian
hot summer months. Last year the show was staged on Broadway for the first time.
